What clients say

  • Lynn is fantastic occupational therapist. Aside from having an incredible base of knowledge, she is terrific with children. My son really took to her and always looked forward to his sessions with her. In fact, Lynn would work with him in the gym of his school, and all of the other children who were dropped off early would wind up taking part in the very end of their session because they all adored playing with Lynn. Aside from being a great therapist, Lynn also was a tremendous source of information for myself and my husband. She came up with various ideas and strategies for us to try at home to try to meet our son’s needs (specifically, in dealing with his sensory processing delays). Lynn also put together a detailed report for his teachers and SEIT, so that they could also incorporate exercises and strategies in the classroom every day to keep him balanced and focused.

  • Lynn is a superb OT! She is a knowledgeable and creative teacher who sees each child as an individual and is continually coming up with new ideas about how to engage each child’s enthusiasm in the work that must be done. Her expertise over two years as my son’s OT helped him become ready for Kindergarten in a gen ed classroom, as she was able to pinpoint the issues he most needed to address, identify the therapies that worked best for him, and implement them in a way that he enjoyed.

  • My son worked with Lynn Herlihy for four months through Bean Sprouts Nursery School. (She now sees patients in private practice too.) He absolutely adores Lynn and looked forward to his meetings with her each week. He considered it their special time together. While working with Lynn his fine motor skills and confidence grew enormously.
